Happy Fathers Day!!

Happy Fathers Day to my wonderful husband and my own loving father!!

Today was our last fathers day as a family of 4 next year we will be a family of 5!

We had a wonderfull breakfast at Golden Coral, the kids were even semi well behaved for once.( They have been horrible at all restaurants for the past few months so this was a welcome change)

After that it was off to Lowes to get mulch for around the pool, then home to put that mulch down.

Then it was in the pool, this was the first time we really got to use the pool as a family. It is such a treat to just get in and out with wasting a ton of time packing every little thing we think we may need, then to get out and just relax on our deck.

After that it was dinner time Dan always gets seafood on fathers day so we had clam chowder ( legal seafood our favorite) and Dan had some grilled fish, I'm not sure what kind of fish as i am no fan of fish. The day ended with the kids cuddling on the couch watching a movie with daddy, I makes my heart grow every time I see him and the kids spend such sweet time together.

New Pool

We ( Danny) finally had a long enough weekend to put the pool up. It took a mountain of sand and a load of bricks but Dan was able to get the ground level enough for the pool. Did I ever mention how amazing my husband is?! Cause well he is AMAZING!! He worked for two days lugging sand and building a level wall in the heat and sun(It was 96 today). Never did he complain! He just keep saying how he can't wait to see the kids having fun in it.

So now the pool is filling and should have enough water by Thursday and be ready for salt. I can not wait pools are a must for being pregnant in NC in the summer. Looks like we are spending next weekend in the pool!

Red Neck Pool

On Sunday Danny was busy replacing the brakes on my van, so i was keeping the kids busy. I put on the kidos swim suits and let them play with the hose and well they decided to make themselves a pool! They had a ball now Dan is wondering why we are investing in a pool when a rubber tote will keep them just as happy.

30 Weeks!!

WOOOOW I am in my 30th week of this pregnancy!! In about 8 more weeks my new baby girl will be in my arms. This may be my third child but it still hasn't lost any of it's wonder. I am still in awe that I have a child in my tummy and someday she will be running and playing with Cameron and Caroline. So proud to have made it this far in the pregnancy and it finally feels real that I will have another baby. After a few rough losses hopes for a third child faded for a long time but now I am confident that I will get to hold my sweet baby Caitlyn in my arms and bring her home! Now I just need to buy her some clothing so she has something to wear when she gets here. ( I made the mistake of getting rid of most of Carolines) But I did order her some diapers today so at least we will have something to keep her bum clean. So thankful tonight to be sitting here feeling Caitlyn do her flips and jumps in my tummy. 

DJ's 6th Birthday

Today we headed into Cary to spend sometime with the cousins. First we headed over to Koen's Baseball game then back to the House to celebrate DJ's 6 Bday!! We had just moved down to NC before DJ's first Birthday day and I am just amazed at how much she has grown. She is just as sweet and cute as they come! We bought her some drawing supplies for her birthday and then she and her uncle Danny spent sometime drawing together. Dan taught her how to use her tracing paper it was so sweet seeing them spending time together. He loved sharing one of his old hobbies with his sweet niece. Happy Birthday DJ we love you!

So this weekend my wonderful hubby and my father in law started work on the new shed! Can not wait till it's done and we can get back our garage space. They got pretty far now they just have the roof shingles and door to put on then it's done. Here are a few pictures the kids loved sitting on the loft with daddy.

Easter Day

Cameron and Caroline came down stairs to huge Easter baskets and  tons of eggs hidden around the downstairs, they couldn't figure out what to do first look at the baskets or pick up eggs! We had a busy long day, baskets/egghunt, church, cousins coming over, second egg hunt, dying eggs and dinner with the family. I love holidays with little ones they are so amazed and excited over everything, it makes me feel like a kid again! Happy Easter everyone!!
